Great Adventure is a trekking and expedition company based in Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website and when you deal with us directly, and what we do with it. You can reach us at info@greatadv.com.

2. What we collectThe information you give us

• Enquiry form: your name, email address, the tour you are interested in, and the message you write (for example dates and group size).
• Review form: your name, country, star rating and review text. Reviews are checked by us before they are shown on the website, and an approved review is displayed publicly with your name and country.
• WhatsApp, email and social media: anything you send us there, including your phone number or profile name. Those platforms handle your data under their own policies.
• When you book: we may ask for passport details, dates of birth, emergency contacts, dietary and medical information that matters for your trip, and insurance details. We ask for this only when it is needed to arrange permits, your invitation letter, hotels, flights and transport.

3. Collected automaticallyWebsite analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages are useful. It records things like the pages you view, your device and browser type, and your approximate location, and it uses cookies to do so. We do not use this to identify you personally. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

4. How we use itWhy we need it

• To reply to your enquiry and plan your trip.
• To arrange permits, your visa invitation letter, hotels, flights, jeeps and crew for your booking.
• To publish reviews you chose to submit, once approved.
• To keep the website working and improve it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anything unrelated to your trip.

5. Who handles itServices and partners we rely on

Enquiries and reviews are stored in a database hosted by Supabase, and email notifications to our team are sent through Resend. Website analytics are provided by Google. These providers process data on our behalf to run the website.

For a confirmed booking we share only what is needed with the people who make your trip possible: government and permit authorities, hotels, airlines, transport providers and our field team. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

6. How long we keep itRetention

We keep enquiries and booking records for as long as we need them to deal with your trip, answer follow-up questions and meet legal and accounting obligations. Ask us to delete your information at any time and we will, except for records we are required to keep.

7. Your choicesAccess, correction and deletion

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, including a review you submitted. Write to info@greatadv.com and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can.

8. ChildrenTravellers under 18

This website is not aimed at children. If a traveller is under 18, a parent or guardian should deal with us on their behalf and provide the booking details.

9. ChangesUpdates to this page

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and the date at the top.
